How to Log in to the JAMB Portal and Accept Your Admission

• Access the JAMB Portal: Go to https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility_/.

• In your Candidate’s Dashboard, locate and click on the Check Admission Status tab.

• Select your Exam year and enter your registration number in the required columns.

• Accept Admission: If admitted, click “Accept Admission,” review the confirmation message, and confirm acceptance if the details are correct.
  

You will be presented with your Admission Profile where you can Accept or Reject the admission.

If you have been offered admission, you will see buttons labelled Accept Admission and Reject Admission (clickable).

How to Register for JAMB

• Get Your NIN: Obtain your National Identification Number (NIN) before starting the UTME registration. It is now mandatory.
• Create Your JAMB Profile: Generate your 10-digit unique profile code by dialing 55019NIN# or 66019NIN# via USSD, or by visiting portal.jamb.gov.ng/Efacility and selecting ‘Sign up for UTME/DE’.
• Prepare an Email Account: While initially not required, a valid email address is essential for JAMB communications and accessing the JAMB portal. Gmail is recommended, but Yahoo Mail is an alternative.
• Check JAMB iBass: Verify your eligibility by checking JAMB iBass before registering for the UTME.
• Purchase an e-PIN: Use your profile code to buy the JAMB 20256 e-PIN online or at authorized banks and outlets.
• Visit an Accredited CBT Centre: Take your details, JAMB profile, and e-PIN/code to an accredited CBT center to complete your registration.

To register for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), start by creating your JAMB profile code and purchasing your e-PIN from an authorized dealer.
